Public impact consulting

Turn what your community needs into what actually gets built.

The Kare for Kairo helps local governments, nonprofits, and businesses listen to the people they serve, build a real plan, and bring the right partners to the table.

Who we work with

If one of these sounds like you, we should talk.

Cities, counties, and economic development offices

You have a corridor, a neighborhood, or a plan to move forward, and you need residents and business owners at the table instead of on the sidelines.

Nonprofits and foundations

You run or fund community programs and want them built on what residents actually say they need, not on what is assumed from the outside.

Local businesses and community groups

You already know what your area is missing. You need a real plan, partners willing to back it, and a seat with the people who can make it happen.

How it works

Three steps from “we need this” to “it is happening.”

1

We listen first

We go straight to residents, business owners, and neighbors to find out what is actually missing, not what is assumed from the outside.

2

We build the plan and the backing

We turn what we heard into a specific community plan, then line up the partners and investors willing to support it.

3

We bring it to the table

We take the plan, the community's voice, and the backers to the elected officials and economic development leaders who can fund and build it. Then we track what gets done.

Ways to start

Start with the whole process, or start with one piece.

Results

Winning an 11-county race by going deep, not wide.

Kenecia led county-level strategy for a State Board of Education race covering 11 Texas counties, on a limited budget and a short timeline. Instead of spreading effort evenly, the campaign concentrated on the two counties, and the few precincts inside them, where the race would actually be decided.

11

counties in the district

40,253

votes in Fort Bend County in the March 2026 primary

515

votes decided the district-wide runoff

Every engagement starts the same way: find where the effort will actually move the outcome, then build real relationships there.
